Dr. Eunice Yuk-Chun Wong has been in private practice in Central, Hong Kong, with special interest in treating ADHD in children and adults in family and social context.
She graduated from Columbia University in 1983 and continued her study there for Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology. Dr. Wong then attended the School of Medicine at George Washington University in Washington DC and had worked in the field of counseling psychology under the supervision of a psychiatrist in Manhattan of New York City. After her medical school years, she did her pediatric residency training in Oakland of California with special area of interest in behavioral and developmental pediatrics.
Over last thirteen years, ever since Dr. Wong went to Hong Kong, she had been active in public health education. She was invited as a speaker on ADHD and on different children’s behavioral and developmental problems to doctors, parents, educators in Hong Kong and occasionally to pediatricians in Southeast Asian countries; she also was a columnist in different newspapers and journals on children’s medical, development and behavioral problems.
To continue her professional enrichment, she has been actively participating different international seminars, annual conferences in behavioral and developmental pediatrics.
She is the Founder and the Chairperson of ADHD Foundation, a Council Member of Licentiate Medical Committee of Hong King, the Vice Chairperson of Public Health Education Committee of Hong Kong Pediatric Society; a member of Society of Behavioral and Developmental Pediatrics of the United States; a fellow of American Academy of Pediatrics, a Diplomat of American Board of Pediatrics.
